Desert Pines High School Library

Hello, and welcome to the Desert Pines High School Library! I'm your school's librarian, Mr. Mannino. Here's a little about me:

I'm originally from White Plains, NY, and have lived in Las Vegas for 22 years.

​

I have a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UNLV.

​

I received my librarian/media specialist endorsement in 2019 through the Southern Nevada Regional Professional Development Program.

​

I've been teaching for the Clark County School District since 2008, and I mainly taught US Government and Economics. The schools that I've taught at were Western High School and Foothill High School.

​

In my free time, I enjoy fishing, off-roading, reading books on history and politics, video games, and watching movies.

​

Overall, I'm excited to be the librarian at Desert Pines High School; I'm looking forward to working with the students and teachers.
